As the NFL Draft approaches, we should see some more movement around the league. The Cleveland Browns are a team to watch in multiple areas, as they have players they could trade and players they could target in trades.

The Browns are in that weird situation where they could look to buy some before the draft, but also look to move on from guys. Ultimately, the Browns should not move any premium draft capital and should only look to make marginal upgrades.

Whether that means adding another quarterback or not remains to be seen, but they were recently linked to another one in a deal with the Philadelphia Eagles. No, it wouldn’t be for Jalen Hurts, but backup Tanner McKee.

“The Browns are a whole different beast, and if the Eagles traded McKee to them, I think it would be an astronomically huge trade. Sure, the Browns would get McKee… but they’d also get some very high draft picks, because they would have to send away,” Jack Beckman of FanSided wrote.

McKee is actually making a name for himself as one of the better backups in the NFL, and it’s rather funny that’s the case, considering he’s hardly played in Philadelphia.

However, during his short moments, he has shown some promise. Still, it’s fair to question whether he’s a starting-caliber quarterback in the NFL, which is what Cleveland needs.
