BOSTON — The Philadelphia 76ers pulled off a shocking 111-97 win over the Boston Celtics in Game 2 on Tuesday night to steal home-court advantage despite still missing Joel Embiid. The big fella is home in Philadelphia continuing to recover from an appendectomy he underwent on April 9.

Rookie VJ Edgecombe stepped up in a big way as he had 30 points and 10 rebounds in the win while Tyrese Maxey had 29 points and Paul George added 19. The three of them played a key role in the Sixers finishing off an impressive win over the Celtics as they now head home with a 1-1 series rather than being down 0-2.

After the win, Embiid took to Twitter to give his reaction to the Sixers pulling off a big Game 2 win on the road. He gave a very simple acronym that everybody knows and loves.

The Sixers will now have two days off before playing host to the Celtics in Game 3 of this series on Friday.
