Micah Parsons has finally made his long-awaited return to the field following his season-ending injury last year, but fans are not convinced he looks right after footage was shared on Thursday.

The Green Bay Packers take on the New England Patriots this weekend in Foxborough, with Parsons eyeing the Thanksgiving game against the Los Angeles Rams as his comeback. However, it would seem as if there is still a lot of work for Parsons to get on with if he is to make a strong return to the roster.

Parsons is returning from a torn ACL and torn meniscus, which has kept him out of the game since December of last year. Although Patrick Mahomes recovered much quicker from his knee injury, Parsons’ journey has not been as straightforward.

As his 21-day practice window has now been opened by the Packers, fans have been left far from convinced over the early footage they have seen of Parsons back on the grass at the training facility.

NFL fans are not convinced by Micah Parsons’ return to the Packers’ practice

Footage was shared from the Packers’ training facility on Thursday of Parsons back in pads and working with the other defenders. However, some fans felt as if they spotted the 27-year-old limping after one of his reps while working with the trainers.

‘Y’all Packers fans coping in the comments.. This doesn’t look promising,’ replied one NFL fan on X.

‘Left leg doesn’t look right,’ added another.

Parsons was wearing a brace on his left knee, which is to be expected of a player making their return from such an injury. The issue many fans had was when Parsons almost collided with a trainer and appeared to limp away.

‘He almost tore it again yikes,’ replied another fan.

‘Looks out of shape and slow,’ said another.

It has certainly been a long road to recovery for Parsons, who has not shied away from voicing his opinions on other NFL teams in the meantime on his podcast. As a result, he has some high standards he needs to return to whenever he makes it back into a game.

‘That dude ain’t the same. Stick to podcasting now lil bro,’ said one fan.

While another added: ‘Is that I limp I see?’
