Boston Bruins forward JJ Peterka reached a career milestone Saturday, recording his 200th NHL point in Boston’s 5-1 win over the Philadelphia Flyers at TD Garden.

Peterka picked up the milestone in the second period, assisting on Mason Lohrei’s second goal of the season to give the Bruins a 2-0 lead.

The 24-year-old became the ninth German player in NHL history to reach 200 career points. He joins a group that includes Leon Draisaitl, Marco Sturm, Jochen Hecht, Tim Stützle and Christian Ehrhoff.

The Munich native was selected by the Buffalo Sabres with the 34th overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft. He spent the first part of his NHL career in Buffalo before joining the Bruins.

Saturday’s game also marked Peterka’s first multi-point performance with Boston, snapping a three-game pointless streak. Through six games this season, he has two goals and four points.
