The Bedford girls basketball player collected 7,031 votes to emerge on top of a three-person race.
She was chanced by a pair of boys swimmers.
JR Hess of Dundee claimed second with 4,539 and Erie Mason-Ida’s David Mills finished third with 2,043.
There were a total of 14.093 votes cast.

Ella Baker, Airport girls track and field: Won the 800 meters at the Eastern Michigan Huron Relays with a time of 2:28.62.
Camryn Cousino, Jefferson-Erie Mason soccer: Assisted on both goals in a 2-2 tie against Lincoln Park.
Aspen Esser, Bedford boys lacrosse: Netted a hat trick to help the Mules win their season opener.
Jakob Furkas, New Boston Huron baseball: Helped the Chiefs start the season 3-0 with three RBI in the opener, two hits in the second game and a game-winning sacrifice bunt in the third.
Olivia Gratz, Airport girls basketball: Led the Jets with 15 points in the state quarterfinals.
Ally Griffith, Whiteford softball: Delivered two hits and three RBI to spark a season-opening victory over Dundee.
Josh Hargraeves, Jefferson boys track and field: Took third place in the 400 meters with a time of :55.01 at the Eastern Michigan Huron Relays.
Nora Kinsey, SMCC girls soccer: Recorded 50th career goal and added an assist in a 2-0 win over Ida.
Blake Lechy, SMCC baseball: Tossed a no-hitter in the second game of a sweep of Riverview Gabriel Richard.
Carson Liedel, Monroe baseball: Collected three hits, including a double and a two-run home run, during a 9-8 win over Lincoln Park in the season opener.
Olivia Piepsney, SMCC softball: Fired a no-hitter with 11 strikeouts, then went 3-for-3 with 3 RBI in the second game of a doubleheader sweep of Ida.
Anthony Tamahkyarov, Airport boys track and field: Placed third place in the 60 meters at the Eastern Michigan Huron Relays with a time of 7.4 seconds.
Peyton Zajac, Airport girls basketball: Racked up 14 points points and 9 rebounds in the state quarterfinals.
