“Wake up call” – Top journalist hits nail on the head with reason for Chelsea problems

Top journalist Matt Law has hit the nail on the head when detailing the reasons for Chelsea’s problems right now.

Law was speaking on the London is Blue Podcast this week where he is a regular guest on the show, and he’s delivered a spot on assessment of how Chelsea are being run right now, and it is something that I’d go as far as to say that 99% of Chelsea fans will fully agree with right now.

Chelsea have just lost four games in a row, and Liam Rosenior is now being turned on already by a lot of Chelsea supporters who just don’t think he’s good enough. It’s even being questioned now whether the players are taking to him as well – I don’t think they are.

Law on Chelsea issues

Matt Law on the London is Blue podcast.

Law said on the show this week:

“You’ve got a whole group of players who have never played Champions League alongside Premier League before. You’ve got a head coach who’s never coached Premier League and Champions League side by side. Zero experience in their coaching staff, both for Rosenior, his backroom staff and the squad. So, wake up call.”

I don’t think anyone can challenge these facts.

In other news…

Sources are saying Liam Rosenior won’t be sacked unless there’s an “almighty collapse”, and given how disconnected the players look right now, we couldn’t rule that out.

Gus Poyet has also been speaking about Rosenior’s future, and he has less confidence than these sources. I personally think I’m with Poyet on this one more than anything else.
