The final opponent on UNLV’s 2026 football schedule has officially been confirmed.

On Thursday, it was announced that the Rebels and the Memphis Tigers would face off in a home-and-home series starting this season.

Both teams will kick off their 2026 campaigns when the Tigers arrive in Las Vegas to play the Rebels at Allegiant Stadium on Aug. 29. Then, on Sept. 15, 2029, the Rebels would fly to Memphis for the second game at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium.

The matchup between UNLV and Memphis is exciting, as it is the first-ever matchups between two of the winningest Group of Five programs in recent memory. Since 2023, the Rebels have a record of 30-12, while the Tigers sport a 29-10 record in the same span.

Memphis officially rounds out the non-conference slate for the Rebels in 2026. The Tigers are the first of two American Conference foes for UNLV this season, with a road matchup against North Texas on the docket for Sept. 12. The MAC’s Akron (Sept. 26) and the ACC’s California (Oct. 3) are the other two non-conference games.

The Rebels have already had their Mountain West schedule announced. They will face Nevada, Wyoming and new conference arrivals UTEP and Northern Illinois at Allegiant Stadium. Meanwhile, the Rebels will go on the road to face Hawai’i, New Mexico, San Jose State and Air Force.

Dates and times for the conference schedule are expected to be released in February.
