a low kick and a spinning back kick to the body. Collins flurries
newar the fence and Tanzilovi backs him off. They clinch in the
center of the cage and Tanzilovi lands a knee to the gut. Tanzilovi
grabs a single leg as Collins moves forward. Collins secures a
guillotine after being taken down. Tanzilovi isn’t in full guard,
though, and Collins has to give up. Collins scoots toward the fence
and lands some elbows from a seated position. Collins stands and
they separate. Collins pressures again and rips the body. Tanzilovi
answers with a knee. The featherweights clinch and then separate as
they move off the fence. Collins is still pressuring, but Tanzilovi

Collins stalks a flurries to the body before changing levels
against the fence. Tanzilovi shows great balance as Collins is
unable to ground his foe. They battle it out in the clinch, with

Collins is feinting, looking for openings. Tanzilovi can’t land a
leaping switch kick, but he is able to land a takedown moments
later. Collins lands elbows to the body as he works his way up.
Tanzilovi maintains a body lock, and then he kicks the liver as
they break. Both men land shots before clinching again. Collins
lands a knee and they separate. Collins moves forward behind a
combination. Another combination lands for Collins, as he slices
through Tanzilovi’s defenses. Tanzilovi shifts gears and gets
another takedown. Tanzilovi spins around to the back as Collins
stands, but he lets his foe free. Collins moves forward and lands a
combination. Tanzilovi with a counter right, but Collins is
attacking with greater volume. Collins has a takedown denied.
Another combination lands for Collins, but Tanzilovi answers with a
left. A hard body kick lands for Tanzilovi, but Collins keeps
moving forward, throwing punches in bunches. Tanzilovi tries a
single leg. Collins pushes the head down and lands some elbows.
Back at distance, Collins rips the body. Tanzilovi fires back and
then forces the clinch. Collins reverses the position an lands a
knee against the fence. Tanzilovi with a knee down the middle
before they break. Tanzilovi shoots for a takedown and finds
himself trapped in an anaconda choke. It looks tight but Tanzilovi

Round 3

Tanzilovi with a leg kick. Collins has a low kick countered by a
Tanzilovi combination. Collins backs Tanzilovi up and rips the body
and head near the fence. Tanzilovi executes another successful
takedown. Collins works his way to the fence and stands. Collins
reverses the clinch and drops low for a takedown of his own.
Tanzilovi defends, so Collins fires a knee. They separate and
Tanzilovi with a combination. Tanzilovi is upping the aggression a
little bit. Tanzilovi shoots for a takedown, and Collins pulls
guard while locking in a guillotine. Collins has the legs up high,
and he gives up on the choke. They scramble up and Collins is
moving forward as usual. Tanzilovi is countering on occasion.
Tanzilovi covers up, so Collins follows a multi-punch barrage with
a shot. Tanzilovi defends, so Collins resets and lands a
combination. Collins clinches behind a spinning backfist attempt.
Tanzilovi lands a short counter right in an exchange. They trade,
and Tanzilovi connects with a hard body kick. Still, he can’t match
Collins’ pressure, as the American continues to push his foe into

with short shots to the head. Santos tries to pull Rosa off the
fence, but Rosa remains upright. Santos remains attached ot her
opponent, intent on getting the takedown. Rosa pushes on Santos’
chin, looking to create some space. Santos is dogged with her
wrestling, as they’ve remained in the clinch for approximately half
the fight now. Finally Rosa frees herself with about 2:00 to go.
Rosa kicks the legs. Rosa absorbs and catches a body kick, but
misses a big counter offering. An overhand right partially lands
for Santos, who is moving on the outside. Santos with a two-punch
combo. Santos ducks under a punch for a level change. Her initial
attempt is denied, but Santos adjusts and uses a head-and-arm throw
to get Rosa down. Santos has a scarf hold, and she’ll end the round

Round 2

This round begins much like the one before, with Santos on the
outside using back and forwth movement. Rosa slips on an
ill-advised kick, which allows Santos to secure top position
approximately 30 seconds in. Santos drops an elbow and then
eventually passes to half guard. Rosa is gradually sliding her way
to the fence. Santos is chest to chest, applying plenty of top
pressure. Santos lands some short punches to the body and head in
the name of staying busy. More body attacks land for Santos. Santos
continues to control the position, peppering her foe with
occasional punches. Rosa doesn’t have an answer other than landing
punches from her back that are little more than an annoyance to
Santos. Santos creates some space and lands a heavier lefts to the
face of her foe. Santos continues to grind away as time winds down.
Rosa gets to a seated position late in the frame, but Santos is

Round 3

Rosa will need to make something big happen to win this fight. Rosa
pressures behind her jab. Santos changes levels about 30 seconds
into the period and shoves Rosa into the wire. Rosa is fighting
valiantly to create separation, but Santos is too strong. Santos
works her way to Rosa’s back, keeping her hands connected. Santos
lands some knees to the back of Rosa’s thighs. While Rosa is doing
well to remain upright, Santos is still bullying her with
positional control against the fence. Finally, Santos lifts and
slams Rosa, taking her fellow Brazilian’s back in an ensuing
scramble. Rosa is focused on controlling her foe’s hands to prevent
submission attempts, but she shows no signs of being able to
explode to her feet. Santos frees her left hand and lands a couple
punches to the side of Rosa’s head. It’s not thrilling, but it’s
nonetheless one-way traffic for Santos in what will be a pretty

Chokeli tees off with power punches, working the head and body with
vigor. Shahbazyan can do little more than cover up, and one
well-placed left hook to the body makes Edmen Shahbazyan’s older
brother crumble to the canvas. This one is over and Chokheli, a
seven-time Bellator veteran, is successful in his UFC debut.
Shahbazyan remains on the canvas for some time after the finish,
clutching his left leg.

Bolanos steps in with a short right. Bolanos is putting it on
Aswell early, as the Texan appears to be slowing down somewhat.
Bolanos is still targeting the body with kicks. Bolanos lands a
pair of rights to the body. Aswell isn’t throwing with the same
volume as he was early in the fight. Aswell shoots behind a
combination but Bolanos stuffs it and kicks the body. Moments
later, Bolanos secures a double-leg takedown. Aswell works his way
up, eating some punches along the way. Bolanos goes back to the
body kick. Bolanos follows a jab with a leg kick. The Peruvian is
mixing his kicks and punches well, also changing levels. Bolanos
goes body-head with a nice combination. Another body-head combo
connects against Aswell. Aswell works the body with punches.
Bolanos lands a right and evades a follow up. Bolanos with a front
kick, then a punching combination. Bolanos denies a takedown
attempt and briefly gets Aswell to the canvas. Bolanos fires off
back to back head kicks. Late in the round, Bolanos fires a
spinning back elbow as Aswell attempts to the close distance.

combination shortly thereafter. A left hook from Raposo backs his
Brazilian foe up. They clinch against the fence briefly. Nascimento

offense. The Brazilian lands knees in the clinch before Raposo
backs off. Nascimento presses the action and drops Raposo with a
right hand near the fence. The Brazilian moves into top position,
working from half guard. Raposo holds his foe closer, giving
himself some time to recover. Nascimento is heavy on top with about
2:30 to work. Raposo recovers full guard. Nascimento lands some

Mullins. Mesquita is swinging with her chin up, and she gets rocked
with a left hook. They clinch and Mullins powers the dazed
Brazilian to the mat. This is still probably good for Mesquita, as
she will have a chance to recover. “Bia” neutralizes Mullins with a
rubber guard. Mullins stands and drops an elbow, which turns out to
be a mistake. Mesquita sees an opening and transitions to an
armbar. Just like that, Mullins is in trouble.
Mesquita extends the limb and Mullins has no choice but to tap
out. Mesquita survives some adversity to earn her third
submission victory in as many UFC appearances.
