Fans trying to find nine MLB teams on television have been left until Opening Day to find them

The timing could have been better. Fans of nine MLB teams went to bed before Opening Day not knowing where they could find them on the TV guides across their regional carriers. As Main Street Sports, which owned the FanDuel family of channels, collapsed under bankruptcy, the Nationals, Brewers, Cardinals, Marlins, Rays, Reds, Royals, Tigers, and Braves were left to scramble. The Seattle Mariners decided to shutter ROOT Sports NW at the end of the 2025 season and have joined the fray.

Two of them, the Tigers and Braves, are launching their own regional sports networks. The others are falling under MLB’s umbrella, where MLB Network produces the broadcasts. Already, the Padres, Diamondbacks, Guardians, Rockies, and Twins have done so in previous years.

Very early on Thursday morning, channel listings began being announced for some, even if they were partial. This article will be updated as more details come in.
