“Top level” – John Terry tips his former team mate to become Chelsea manager

Chelsea legend John Terry has tipped his former Chelsea team mate Cesc Fabregas to one day become the Chelsea manager.

It comes after the success he is having over in Italy with Como right now, and Terry has been tracking his career off the field after having shared the pitch with him at Stamford Bridge for some time.

The former Blues captain believes that Fabregas will soon go on to manage a top level club like Chelsea, or even Arsenal, having played for them in the Premier League as well.

Speaking to the Icon Series TikTok, he was asked to say if he preferred Fabregas at Arsenal or at Chelsea. He acknowledged that the Spaniard’s best years were with the Gunners, as he spent more time in north London, but then explained why he was still blown away by the midfielder’s impact at Stamford Bridge:

“The Fabregas of Arsenal because of the time he spent there. But that year I played with him and we won the league under Conte, honestly, I think he’s got the best football brain I’ve been around and seen.

“The way he understands football, and there’s no coincidence why he’s doing so well at Como. I think he’s going to be a top, top manager and, one day, he will manage a Chelsea or an Arsenal at the top level.”
