Pittsburgh Steelers young quarterbacks Will Howard and Drew Allar are expected to be the only QBs to play again next week against the Buffalo Bills, per Missi Matthews’ pregame interview with head coach Mike McCarthy.
“We just felt this opportunity alone to play these young quarterbacks, that’s the primary focus for us really coming out of the offseason program,” McCarthy told Matthews. “We’d like to do it this week and probably do the same thing next week.”
McCarthy revealed earlier this week that he has seen enough of Mason Rudolph. He knows what he has in the veteran.
