The Pittsburgh Steelers announced a host of additions to new head coach Mike McCarthy’s staff on Wednesday.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported on Thursday that the team is on the verge of filling another vacancy.

“C.J. Ah You is expected to be named Outside Linebackers Coach with the Pittsburgh Steelers,” Pelissero posted on Bluesky.

Ah You will be replacing Denzel Martin, who served as the Steelers outside linebackers coach for the past three seasons.

Martin has been with Pittsburgh for 10 years, serving as a scouting assistant in 2016 and 2017, coaching assistant in 2018 and 2019 and assistant outside linebackers coach from 2020 to 2022.

Ah You was a seventh-round draft pick in 2007 and played 33 games as a defensive end across three seasons with the St. Louis Rams from 2009 to 2011.

The 43-year-old has never coached in the NFL, but has had various titles at the collegiate level with Oklahoma, Vanderbilt, USC and Texas Tech.
