After the shorthanded edition of the Golden State Warriors stumbled in a blowout loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday, Steve Kerr’s rotation welcomed some much-needed reinforcements on Wednesday in the final leg of their four-game road swing. Steph Curry, Draymond Green, Al Horford and De’Anthony Melton all returned to the lineup on Wednesday night against the Utah Jazz.

With Curry back in the lineup, the Warriors returned to their winning ways on Wednesday night in Utah. Behind a high-powered offensive performance, the Warriors rolled to a 140-124 win over the Jazz to end their four-game road trip.

Eight members of the Warriors tallied double-figures on Wednesday with Curry leading the way. Curry tallied a game-high 27 points on 7-of-14 shooting from the field with four made 3-pointers to go along with two assists and two steals in 28 minutes.

Moses Moody continued his strong stretch of play with 26 points on 9-of-15 shooting from the field. Moody drilled a game-high five 3-pointers in 26 minutes against the Jazz. Moody has now tallied 10 or more points in nine straight games for the Warriors. Over that nine-game span, Moody is averaging 15.2 points per contest.

The Warriors buried 23 3-pointers on Wednesday, with seven members of the Warriors tallying two or more made triples. Both Buddy Hield and rookie Will Richard drilled three 3-pointers off the bench against the Jazz.

Led by 16 points from Gui Santos, the Warriors’ bench scored 67 of Golden State’s 140 points on Wednesday night in Salt Lake.

Golden State’s 140 points is a new season high in total points scored in a game this season. The Warriors have previously tallied 137 points twice this season.

The Warriors now end their road swing with a 2-2 record over four games. The Warriors will now return to the Bay Area for a tough two-game slate against a pair of Eastern Conference contenders, the Detroit Pistons and Philadelphia 76ers.

The Warriors will host the Eastern Conference-leading Pistons on Friday night at Chase Center with tipoff set for 7 p.m. PT.
