To quote a great man “How you gonna get fired on your day off?” Well, that’s what happened to Charles Snowden Saturday. The Raiders held their rookie minicamp — an event in which the veteran is obviously not participating — and yet today he was cut by the team.

Snowden along with three others were waived to make room for four undrafted players who were signed following tryouts on Friday and Saturday.

Other players waived included veteran guards McClendon Curtis and Layden Robins and recently signed undrafted free agent TE Matt Lauter (Boise St).

Raiders signed tryout players:

  • Devyn Perkins, S, Utah Tech
  • Niklas Henning, T, Queens (Canada)
  • Patrick Gurd, TE, Cincinnati
  • Kamar Missouri, T, UTSA

Congrats to these four players whose performances earned thems an undrafted free agent contract with the Raiders.
