Luka Doncic is fully fit and firing for the Los Angeles Lakers now, and it shows with their recent results. They are currently in the third seed, as they are on a six-game winning streak.

That streak includes victories against the Houston Rockets on Monday and the Denver Nuggets during the weekend. These games are not only strong performances against good teams, but they also feature a Playoff environment.

Doncic loves the Playoff feel in the Lakers’ recent games

Doncic has been stellar for the entire 2025-26 season, especially when he is healthy. Of course, he has not been as active as he would like to because of the many injuries. However, whenever he is on the floor, he has been stellar.

Moving forward, Doncic wants to keep contributing and helping the Lakers succeed. That is why he is performing well as of late and continuing to deliver with his league-leading scoring.

Recently, Doncic has been relishing the environment the Lakers are trying to get through. There are plenty of tough obstacles with top teams, which has led to a big Playoff feel in most of the Lakers’ games.

“It was great, I think we shared the ball great, especially in the last quarter. They scored 92 points, for Houston, to hold them to 92, which is pretty awesome. We did a great job defensively,” Doncic said about the Lakers stepping up to beat the Rockets on Monday.

“We could have done a lot better, but all that matters is we got the win, we have to keep this rolling… The last couple of games have been feeling like a Playoff game. They play with a lot of physicality.”

As the Lakers continue to adjust, they are growing within themselves. They are ready for Playoff basketball, as they could continue holding the third seed. Catching up to the San Antonio Spurs in second is improbable, but the Lakers will want to keep going as long as the streak continues.
