The Detroit Lions found some secondary help, signing former Titans and Rams cornerback Roger McCreary. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound corner was originally a second-round choice by the Titans in the 2022 NFL draft.
McCreary has played in 61 NFL games and started 38. Last season, McCreary made a trio of starts with the Titans before he was dealt to the Rams. McCreary played in six games for the Rams but didn’t start.
In his career, McCreary has tallied 257 tackles, 17 passes defended, four sacks and three interceptions. McCreary carded a 77.8 overall defensive grade, a 79.4 coverage grade, a 73.5 tackling grade and a 67.4 run defense grade in his six games with the Rams.
