The Los Angeles Lakers will look to bounce back from their 129-99 defeat at the hands of the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday when they take on the Washington Wizards on Friday. The Wizards have the worst record in the Eastern Conference at 11-34, but the Lakers cannot take any team lightly these days.
Luka Doncic tweaked his ankle on Wednesday, and he is listed as questionable for Friday as a result. But the big news for Los Angeles is the fact that Austin Reaves, who has been out for about a month with a gastrocnemius strain, could make his return in the nation’s capital.
He is listed as questionable as well. Rookie forward Adou Thiero will continue to sit due to a sprained MCL.

Reaves hasn’t played since Christmas Day. He’s averaging 26.6 points and 6.3 assists a game while shooting 50.7% from the field and 36.5% from 3-point range.
After Friday, the Lakers’ next game will be at Madison Square Garden versus the New York Knicks on Sunday. They will then wrap up their eight-game Grammy road trip on Tuesday, Feb. 5, versus the Brooklyn Nets.
