Kofi Fosuhene Asare bounces back in Lithuania
At 23, Kofi Fosuhene Asare continues his journey abroad. The Ghanaian forward has signed with FK Banga Gargždai, a top-flight Lithuanian club, which has confirmed the news.
After leaving Djurgårdens IF in 2022, Asare played for Sandvikens IF, where he netted five goals in 23 matches in Ettan Norra. He then joined Landskrona BoIS, before transferring last summer to FC Inter Turku.
In Finland, his playing time was limited, making just one league appearance. Now a free agent, he is looking to reignite his career with Banga, who finished 8th in the last championship.
