Episcopal soccer is carrying an unbeaten record all the way into the final four.

The undefeated Eagles nailed down the Florida High School Athletic Association Region 1-2A boys soccer championship on Feb. 13, winning 3-0 over visiting Williston at Jangro Stadium.

Robert Adams continued his playoff scoring streak for the Eagles, with Cade Cummings and Charlie DeVooght also on target for Episcopal (21-0-3).

Goalkeeper Drew Monti held Williston (14-4-5) at bay all night, saving three shots in the shutout.

Episcopal advances to its first state semifinal since 2010, setting up a Feb. 17 state semifinal at Lake Myrtle Sports Park in Auburndale.

University Christian’s best-ever season ended in heartbreak at the regional final, knocked out 3-2 in a penalty kick tiebreaker by Rocky Bayou Christian after regulation and overtime finished 1-1.

UC (17-2-4), the top seed in the region, had never before qualified for the FHSAA regionals.

Rocky Bayou Christian (12-6-3) moves on to a Feb. 17 state semifinal.
