It is no secret that the Cleveland Browns need to inject life into their offense, and a lot of it. Every mock draft around has the Browns selecting a wide receiver or an offensive tackle early, and for good reason. At the NFL combine, they are doing their due diligence on the positions as well, and even met with the brother of Cleveland Cavaliers’ guard Jaylon Tyson.

Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson is seen as one of, if not the top, wide receiver in the 2026 NFL draft class after a strong career with the Sun Devils. He is a projected top-10 pick and could be on the Browns’ radar when they come on the clock with the sixth overall pick in the draft.

At his media session today in Indianapolis at the combine, Tyson went on to state that he had a formal interview with the Browns. If the Browns were to select the Arizona State wide receiver, there would be a Tyson overload in Cleveland.

How does Jordyn Tyson fit with the Browns?

There is a ton that goes into making Tyson perhaps the best wide receiver in the class. He has strong, plucky hands to reel in even off-target throws. He is an elusive route runner and natural separator when working down the field, and he has the ability to turn a short reception into an explosive play after the catch.

What many will say the hang-up with Tyson in Cleveland is, however, that his skillset overlaps quite a bit with Jerry Jeudy. However, as the Browns enter the 2026 season, there may be little concern given to overlapping with any current wide receiver in the room, as a full turnover could be completed by 2027.
