Very good news for Barça and its Camp Nou
Barça has received the necessary municipal authorization to reopen a new section of Camp Nou.
According to information from Mundo Deportivo this Tuesday, the 1C license granted by the city of Barcelona allows the Catalan club to open the first and second tiers of the North Stand for the upcoming La Liga match against Sevilla FC next Sunday. Thanks to this decision, the stadium’s capacity will increase from 45,401 to 62,657 spectators.
FC Barcelona will now begin the process of allocating around 14,000 season tickets for socios in this section of the stadium. Members who have not yet reserved their seat will have 24 hours to submit their application, with prices ranging from 160 to 264 euros.
It should also be noted that Barça continues its efforts to reactivate the supporters’ zone located in the South Stand, a space with 1,247 seats called Gol 1957, whose opening still depends on further modifications and specific access procedures.
