The 2026 Australian Rules Football season begins this week with five opening round matches taking place all over Australia. The season opener on March 5 sees the Sydney Swans face off against Carlton at home, but if you plan to watch from the U.S., just know that you’ll have to get up well before the sun — the match begins at 3:30 a.m. ET.
