8 teams in Week 7 who can give Jaguars a boost in playoff standings

The Jacksonville Jaguars are on their bye, but there are a number of teams that can give them some help in Week 7, both in the division and conference playoff races.

Of course, to start with the obvious, you should be rooting against the three other AFC South teams. This week the Texans host the Giants, the Colts are at Minnesota, and the Titans host the Browns.

Sitting at 4-2 on the season, the Jaguars are positioned well in the division, with a two-game lead over both the 2-4 Texans and Colts.

When it comes to the overall AFC playoff picture, the Jaguars are currently the three-seed, trailing the 5-0 Chiefs and the 5-1 Bills. The Chiefs play Seattle this week, while Buffalo is on a bye as well.

Along with the Jaguars being 4-2, so are the Browns, Broncos, Steelers, and Ravens — four more teams to root against. Those teams play the Titans (Browns), Cardinals (Broncos), Saints (Steelers), and Bengals (Ravens).
