The Giannis Antetokounmpo-Heat trade was made official on Monday, as a new era will begin in both Miami and Milwaukee.

Fans will be rushing to stores and online to get their own Giannis jerseys, but the jerseys won’t have #34 on the back this time.

AP writer Tim Reynolds reported that Giannis’ new jersey number will be #7 with the Heat.

This change comes after a 13-year run of his wearing #34 in Milwaukee.

Giannis is one of the first players fans think of when #34 comes up in any sport, but fans will have to get used to him wearing the jersey number of those two numbers added together.

It’s not a surprise, but it was also revealed that the Bucks will retire #34 for Giannis.

He’s got some work to do to be a Heat all-time great, but I’m sure he’ll have the goal of getting #7 in the rafters in Miami.
