Testing confirmed a concussion for Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love, who has been ruled out for the rest of Saturday’s showdown with the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field.

Love suffered the head injury on a helmet-to-helmet hit from Austin Booker in the second quarter. He was evaluated in the blue medical tent and later walked back to the locker room without a helmet.

Backup Malik Willis took over for Love and led the Packers on a drive ending in a field goal. Green Bay leads at the half, 6-0.

Love completed 8 of 13 passes for 77 yards before the injury.

Love will enter the league’s concussion protocol. He will need to pass the protocol to play next Saturday against the Baltimore Ravens at Lambeau Field.
