The Los Angeles Rams had one of the NFL’s best teams in 2025, coming agonizingly close to the Seattle Seahawks, who went on to win the Super Bowl.

But, in 2026, with a revamped roster that has filled out their major need at cornerback, it wouldn’t be a surprise for analysts and experts to predict the Rams to win the Super Bowl.

ESPN’s Dan Graziano looked at such an angle that the Rams are likely to win the Super Bowl in Los Angeles this upcoming season, and deemed it “not an overreaction,” amid the team’s major offseason spending as they go all-in.

Rams winning Super Bowl in 2026 not an overreaction to all-in offseason

“The Rams are fittingly going to win the Super Bowl in Los Angeles,” Graziano writes. “Verdict: not an overreaction. The last time the Super Bowl was at SoFi Stadium, it was the Rams who won it – and it’s certainly not ridiculous to believe they could do it again.”

The Rams winning the Super Bowl next year would not be a major surprise. Considering how close they got in 2025, and how they didn’t lose many key players this offseason, that alone would be enough to justify the Rams as contenders next year at worst.

But, aside from Matthew Stafford coming back, justifying an all-in offseason, the Rams also landed Trent McDuffie, an All-Pro cornerback, in a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs. And in free agency, they signed Jaylen Watson, another Chiefs cornerback.

While they parted with a first, third, fifth, and sixth round picks in the McDuffie trade, they still have their own second and third-rounders this year, along with the Atlanta Falcons first rounder, which comes in at 13th overall.

The Rams roster is already one of the best in the NFL, and they are easily one of the Super Bowl favorites. Add on a premium rookie, and it would not be a surprise for the Rams to win the Super Bowl after a strong 2026 season.

Graziano doesn’t believe the Rams being favored as the next Super Bowl champions is an overreaction. Amid an all-in offseason and the Rams’ immense talent last year, seeing Sean McVay and the Rams win another Super Bowl in Los Angeles would not be a surprise.
