Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons was exceptional against double teams in 2025.

The Titans ended the 2025 NFL season with a 3-14 record. Simmons was the anchor of their defense, having been named first-team All-Pro last season. The Mississippi State product was effective in the pass rush, recording 11 sacks on the year. Highly regarded on defense, particularly by his peers, opposing offensive lines struggled to keep Simmons from getting to their quarterbacks throughout the season.

According to NFL Next Gen Stats (via NFL.com’s Tony Holzman-Escareno), Simmons recorded the most quarterback pressures after facing double teams in 2025 with 18.

Behind Simmons was New England Patriots DT Christian Barmore (17), Tampa Bay Buccaneers DT Vita Vea (16), Dallas Cowboys DT Quinnen Williams (15), followed by free agent defensive lineman Calais Campbell (14).

Simmons also ranked No. 11 in the league in total pressures with 32. His effectiveness against double teams translated to him outpacing his peers in quarterback pressures in those situations last season.
