The Chicago Bears are just scratching the surface following their impressive 2025 season, where they found immediate success under first-year head coach Ben Johnson en route to an 11-6 record, NFC North title and wild-card playoff win.

One of the most memorable wins from last season was the Bears‘ improbable, overtime comeback win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 16. Chicago had no business winning after a rough showing in the first three quarters. But the “Cardiac Bears” found a way to overcome a 13-3 deficit to force overtime. Chicago’s offense mounted three straight scoring drives in the fourth quarter — two field goals and a touchdown — including quarterback Caleb Williams’ game-tying touchdown to rookie wide receiver Jahdae Walker to force overtime. From there, the defense got a huge stop on fourth-and-1 near midfield and Williams hit wide receiver DJ Moore for the walk-off touchdown.

It was one of the most improbable wins of the season — and one of two against the Packers — so it wasn’t a surprise that the Bears won the “Moment of the Year” award at NFL Honors, which Moore was on hand to receive. And during his acceptance speech, Moore sent a warning to the rest of the league.

“Can’t wait to cause some havoc in the league next year,” Moore said.

The Bears went from worst to first in one of the best divisions in the NFL while establishing themselves as the “Comeback Kings” — or “Cardiac Bears” mind you — for their NFL-record seven fourth-quarter comebacks. They exceeded expectations in Year 1 under Johnson, and now they’ll be looking to take the next step in 2026. And with the duo of Johnson and Williams at the helm, the sky’s the limit.
