Al-Hilal confirms medical examinations for their goalkeeper Yassine Bounou

Saudi club Al-Hilal has released an official statement on its “X” page, providing an update on the health status of several players, including Moroccan international goalkeeper Yassine Bounou.
Al-Hilal announces Bounou’s injury and his absence against Al-Fayha
The “Giant of Asia” stated that Bounou suffered a muscular injury to his anterior thigh during his last appearance with the Atlas Lions. The Moroccan shot-stopper will undergo comprehensive medical examinations, including an MRI scan, to precisely determine the nature of the injury and the rehabilitation protocol to follow.
The current leaders of the Saudi Pro League have also confirmed that their goalkeeper will be absent for the match against Al-Fayha, scheduled for Thursday evening as part of the 16th round of the Saudi championship.
On another note, Yassine Bounou made a point of sending an optimistic message to Moroccan national team supporters, despite the disappointment of losing the Africa Cup of Nations final.
Through a post on his official Instagram account, the “Zaïm” goalkeeper emphasized that true happiness lies in living fully in the present moment, and that upholding values is more important than chasing trophies. He concluded his message with a special salute to the Moroccan fans.
